From motion sickness to crate training, there are unique challenges when traveling with this energetic, intelligent breed. In this guide, we’ll share practical tips to make your journey safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for both you and your Klee Kai pup.
Travel Tip #1: Bring a Portable Water Bowl
Since your Klee Kai is a smaller dog breed, there's no way they can wait until the final stop to get some water! To make sure your pup stays hydrated, bring a portable water bowl and water bottles with you on your trip. This will allow them to drink whenever they need to, and it'll also help keep them from getting dehydrated in hot weather. Be sure not to skip out on any of your pup’s meals while traveling, too.

This way, if they get scared and try running away from you, there will be no chance of them getting lost or injured. Additionally, it is polite to keep your puppy leashed in the event you run into other dogs or pedestrians while outside.

Just like with human babies, traveling with your Klee Kai puppy can be exhausting! To help keep them occupied and happy, bring some of their favorite toys and a blanket along with you.
