Alaskan Klee Kai are dogs with double coats, which means that in addition to being gently brushed on about a weekly basis, they need to be groomed twice a year around when they blow their coats (lose their undercoats). It’s easy to tell when they are blowing their coats: you’ll start to see a lot of fur everywhere! This twice a year grooming might seem a little daunting, but with the right tools and the right approach, it’ll be a piece of cake.
