Bringing home an Alaskan Klee Kai is an unforgettable experience and many of our families travel from all across the United States to meet their puppy for the very first time.

If you are an out-of-state buyer, this page will guide you through exactly how pickup works, what to expect, and how to prepare for a smooth travel experience.

Important: We Do NOT Ship Puppies

At Kika’s Klee Kai, we do not offer shipping under any circumstance. All puppies must be picked up in person through one of the following options:

Fly-In Pickup Process

Most out-of-state families choose to fly in.

Before You Travel

We recommend:

Booking flights after your pickup date is confirmed
Bringing an airline-approved soft carrier for your return trip
Planning a calm, direct travel route home

We will guide you on all travel preparation steps so you feel fully ready.

At Pickup

You will receive:

Your puppy’s health records
Vaccination and deworming information
Feeding and care instructions
Early training and crate guidance
Transition support materials
Time for one-on-one education before travel

Drive-In Pickup Process

If you are within driving distance, you are welcome to pick up your puppy by car.

What to Prepare

Secure crate or travel carrier

Set up their travel comfort system
